  1. Navneet

Alfina Alginate has become my go-to impression material. Its hydrophilic properties make it perfect for capturing details even in moist environments. I love how easy it is to mix and apply—no fuss, just reliable results. The set time is just right, giving me enough time to position everything correctly. I’ve had consistently accurate impressions, which has made my workflow smoother. Highly recommend it for both new and experienced dental professionals!

  2. Ashish

I recently switched to Alfina Alginate from Prevest Denpro, and I’m really pleased with my decision. The mixing process is straightforward, and the material sets quickly without sacrificing accuracy. I’ve found that it captures fine details exceptionally well, which is crucial for creating accurate dental models. Plus, my patients have commented on how comfortable the impressions are. Overall, it’s a fantastic product that I’ll definitely continue using!

Instructions for use :

Open the bag and pour the alginate into an airtight container. Keep the lot number and expiration date of the product by cutting the relevant details off the bag. To ensure a proper powder-to-water ratio, shake the container 2 or 3 times to disperse the powder before mixing. Take 18g of powder into a rubber mixing bowl and add 36 ml of water to it. Spatulate vigorously till you obtain a smooth glossy cream. Load the mixed material into the impression tray and seat it inside the mouth. Remove the impression after setting and rinse it well. For best results, the model must be poured immediately without any undue delay. The mixing time, working time and the setting times of the regular and fast set varieties are as below

Caution: Times for clinical use are indexed to the start of mixing with deionized water at 23°C/73°F. Colder water slows setting, warmer water speeds up setting. Variations in water hardness may result in deviations in times. Distilled water is ideal for alginate because it eliminates contamination of the mix with calcium, fluoride, and other materials found in tap water.

Storage Conditions : Store the container at temperature between 10°C to 24°C. Close the cap carefully after use. Keep away from moisture.

Shelf Life : 3 years from the date of manufacturing.
