Zinconol demonstrates strong adhesion to both tooth structure and various restorative materials. This feature is crucial for ensuring long-lasting results, and I’ve noticed a significant reduction in post-operative sensitivity compared to other temporary cements. Its ability to bond effectively makes it a go-to choice for my practice.

Zinconol stands out as a polymer-reinforced zinc oxide eugenol (ZOE) cement, offering impressive strength and durability. Its reinforced formula provides excellent resistance to fracture and wear, making it a reliable choice for both temporary and permanent restorations. I’ve found it holds up well under daily occlusal forces.

The mixing and application of Zinconol are straightforward. The smooth consistency allows for easy manipulation, ensuring a precise application. However, achieving the right mix can require some attention to detail, as slight variations in the powder-to-liquid ratio may affect the setting characteristics.
